Introduction With the recent discoveries of several minerals in Mozambique,

coal, heavy mineral, graphite and natural gas, the country

engineering companies have been challenged to qualify

themselves to provide mechanical and piping services for the

heavy and mining industry.

EngProjects, S.A is a 100% Mozambican company, specialized in

Mechanical and Piping Services established to respond the

demands of the oils & gas industry, mining, ports & multimodal,

sugar mills, aluminium smelters, etc.

Steel Structures EngProjects is an engineering projects management company

that does not outsource the fabrication process.

We possess fabrication facilities at Beluluane Industrial Park in

Boane District, where also is located our head office.

Facilities area – 6000 m2

Workshop area – 2500 m2

Offices area – 800 m2

Laydown area – 2700 m2

Steel plates cutting, bending and rolling; steel sections cutting and drilling of holes in steel plates and sections; welding

and turning.

Guillotine cutting capacity: mild steel – 10 mm thickness, stainless steel – 4 thickness, aluminium – 16 thickness

Bending machine capacity: mild steel – 10 mm thickness, stainless steel – 6 thickness, aluminium – 16 thickness

Rolling machine capacity: mild steel – 16 mm thickness, stainless steel – 10 thickness, aluminium – 20 thickness.

Plasma cutting and oxy-acetylene cutting.

Welding processes – stick welding, MIG/MAG welding and TIG welding. We weld mild steel, stainless steel and

aluminium

Fabrication Processes

Steel Erection EngProjects has a very well experienced team of steel erectors that have performed many steel erection projects

delivered before expected conclusion date with zero safety incidents.

From small steel structures: conveyor crossing platforms, access platforms and handrailing systems (MOZAL) to the most

complex ones: replacement of components of an existing steel structure (KENMARE), sheds (BLACK GOLD RESOURCES).

All lifting equipment: come along, chain hoists, chain blocks and slings are inspected for safe use before commencement

of any erection projects

Fabrication & Installation of

Pressure Pipes EngProjects was established mainly to fulfil the need for a 100% Mozambican

company that can perform pressure piping fabrication and installation projects

following all requirements that the oil and gas industry demands.

We have performed piping projects under ASME B31.3 code of construction

successfully complying with all requirements.

EngProjects possesses highly experienced ASME IX coded welders and pipe fitters.

Qualified Welding Procedure Specification for all range of diameters and thickness

for carbon steel and stainless steel.

Our Mechanical and Piping Supervisors are trained and certified to supervise and

inspect bolted flanged joints integrity.

We perform hydrostatic test when commissioning piping systems we fabricate and

install.

From fabrications of low-pressure vessels: water treatment sand filters (COLLINS,

SISTEMAS DE ÁGUA, LDA), beer brewing stainless-steel pipes (GOLY ENERGY) to high-

pressure vessels: hydraulic stainless-steel pipes (KENMARE)

Maintenance

We assist our customers with the

reconditioning of mechanical parts,

replacement of chute liner plates,

cleaning and painting of corroded

parts, etc.

EngProjects has got a team specialized in refurbishment of sheds: replacement

of damaged clad and roof sheeting, purlins, girts, beams and bracings.

For routine maintenance some of our customers prefer to hire our labour on

monthly basis at an agreed rate.

Wear Lining & Corrosion

Protection

We sandblast and paint as per specification shared by our customers.

Depending on the customer, EngProjects specialists can propose a corrosion

protection system that comprises: the grade of the sandblasted surface, the

primer paint and its dry film thickness and final paint and its dry film thickness.

EngProjects uses coating systems proposed by internationally recognized

manufacturers: Carboline, Plascon, Sigma, CIN, etc.

EngProjects assists the mining industry wear lining pipes and chutes

transporting wear material: heavy sand, coal, etc.

Our rubber lining team is specialized in application of rubber from the most

popular and reliable rubber manufacturers: Linatex rubber, Truco rubber and

Rema-tiptop.
