Yes. • We cannot consider applications from individuals, nor organisations working for profit. • We cannot help with running costs, salaries and expenses, general repair and maintenance, general sponsorship, office costs, office equipment, events, administration, general medical costs, uniforms, individual’s sports kit, out of school clubs, or the purchase of land or buildings. • Projects considered by the Trustees to be the statutory responsibility of local Councils and Government departments will not be supported. • Schools and churches must demonstrate access and benefit to the wider community, not just pupils and worshippers. Projects must be over and above core activities and statutory requirements. • Membership groups, clubs, societies and sports clubs will be considered on their own merits, particularly looking at community access and membership fees. • You cannot apply for money for items already purchased or work you have already done. An example of a successful project Cheadle Coaching School achieved a grant of £579 for goal nets, footballs, hurdles, bibs & training equipment for their weekly football coaching sessions. The project is open to girls and boys, and charges a nominal weekly fee to cover gym hire. The equipment increased community benefit by allowing more people to participate. £900 was raised from other funders towards their project.
