However, things go awry quickly. His hick cousin, Eddie (Randy Quaid), and his family show up unplanned and start living in their camper on the Griswold property. Our goal is to have fun, let our imaginations run wild, and have the best event EVER in our community. What’s the plan for your Christmas vacation?? This year we are celebrating the 31st Anniversary of the Lighter Side ofChristmas Parade and the 30th anniversary of the classic comedy film, National Lampoon’s “Christmas Vacation.” As the holidays approach, Clark Griswold

(Chevy Chase) wants to have a perfect family Christmas, so he pesters his wife, Ellen (Beverly D’Angelo), and children, as he tries to make sure everything

is in line, including the tree and house decorations. However, things go awry quickly. His hick cousin, Eddie (Randy Quaid), and his family show up unplanned and start living in their camper on the Griswold property. Our goal is to have fun, let our imaginations run wild, and have the best

event EVER in our community. What’s the plan for your Christmas vacation?? Remember, this is the LIGHTER Side of Christmas ... Have fun!

Put your creative juices to work this year for the LSOC Crazy Hat Contest, sponsored by Williams Log Cabin Furniture. This year the theme is

“Woodland Park’s Christmas Vacation.” Come up with your best idea for that special holiday vacation and put it on your hat! Let’s make Mike Williams proud with a great turnout this year! Popular Vote Judging will take place
