I don’t know how to start this journal not only because I can’t think of something to write about the topic above but also I don’t know what to do first-- my portfolio, my presentation, or to review for the upcoming pre-board exam? How great is this life. Anyway let us proceed. Community linkages. What about that? A school is a community and outside the school is another community. When both of the communities relate with each other, there we have a link and who makes that possible? Of course, teachers make that happen. They are the frontrunners of all possible transactions for the improvement of both communities. They talk a lot inside and outside the school. It’s the only profession I think that your house becomes an extension of the school. They are seen by the students, the parents of the students and the common tao as a respectable entity and with that, we can say that teachers have high social status. As a matter of fact, if social status is the basis of the list of richest men on earth then I think a teacher will make it to the cover of the Forbes’s magazine. Unfortunately it’s not. We are so underappreciated when it comes to economic status. Service oriented? - I say yes! And isn’t it, that the more that a job is service oriented then we should receive what is due to us.
