06 COMMUNITY LOUNGEA central space for informal activities and education. Functions will include waiting and event spill out, internet café facilities, quiet reading, hot desking, short & long term use etc. Clerestory windows over to provide additional light.
07 MEETING ROOMSRooms accessed by a range of groups & programs. Each room includes concealed storage space to accommodate the range of users. Sufficent space to accomodate between 20-30 people. The two rooms can be joined into one space to accomdate larger meetings and gatherings.

Open windows to the north and high level clerestory windows at the rear of the room. This is a flexible room which can be used for the Kindergarten when there is sufficient demand.

10 RECEPTIONMain reception and central node for the entire facility. Welcoming space for families and children. Two level reception desk open to the foyer (able to be secured out of hours). Informal secure line before Kindergardens, Longday Care and MCH areas.
11 STAFF OFFICE AND KITCHENETTEAn area for staff of the whole facility to network, share ideas and encourage informal community development between the various facility services. Features kitchenette and food preparation area for staff members.
12 MATERNAL & CHILD HEALTHThree consulting rooms for the Maternal and Child Health nurses and additional consulting room for family support service and alternative care. Waiting area for MCH clients (families with babies and children) with seating and play area. Area to serve as space for information sessions for families. Baby changing facilities and a discreet breast feeding area.
13 LONG DAY CARE SERVICESKitchen where Long Day Care can prepare food and refreshments adjacent to Children’s Room and Early Years Foyer. Laundry area for entire facility to wash and dry linen. Area containing bath and accessible shower.
14 EARLY YEARS FOYERSpace to wait for children pick-up with pram parking. Separate but connected to main foyer. Features windows for children to ‘peek’ into play spaces & vice versa.
08 COMMUNITY CAFEA central space which supports the activities of the community hub. Provides a place to wait and gather with other members of the community. Features a variety of seating options and direct access to outside seating and playground.
09 COMMUNITY KITCHENDomestic style kitchen with semi commercial finishes that can be hired out for functions. Available for community groups and charity organisations.
