The purposes of the individual commercial and employment zoning districts and the manner in which they are applied are as follows. A. C-N (Neighborhood Commercial) District. The CN zoning district is applied to areas characterized by or appropriate for convenience shopping and services either near or within residential neighborhoods. Quality design is particularly important within this district, to ensure compatibility with the neighborhoods that the commercial uses will serve.
