Activities Guidelines
BALAKAYO GOT TALENT
Guidelines:
1. Everyone can participate either in singles or group (consists of 5-7members). Choose a name to be represented.
2. Everyone can have their own act: singing, dancing, magic trick, puppetshows, cheer dance, or any talent that can be shown
3. Every act has a 1 minute preparation and a 4 minute presentation For every 30 seconds extension, 2 % will be deducted
4. Every finished act, there is a 1 minute cleaning time by the performers sothat the next performer can proceed
5. Props can be used in the act as long it cannot harm others6. Participants must give their application and music ahead of time. No
application and music, no performance.
Mechanics:
1. Each has its own time limit to prepare and present2. Each act will be given points by the judges in correspond to the criteria3. There will be only one act who will be considered the grand prize winner
followed by the first runner-up until the third runner-up
Criteria:
Mastery 20% Over-all performance 50%

BALAKAYO COOKING CONTEST
Guidelines:
1.
There are 5 groups with 7 members each2. Anyone can join3. Borrowing of utensils and ingredients is prohibited4. Each group must also have their own jingles to be performed during the
food presentation
5. The food must serve the community people6. The group with the highest score is considered the winner
Mechanics:
Food Preparation
1. The group must be composed of 7 members2. The group must cook one food with the vegetables and fish as the main
ingredient
3. The group will use their own utensils4. The groups are given 1 hour to cook including the preparation and
finishing stuff
Every 5 minutes extension, there is a deduction of 2%Food Presentation
1. Every after the cook, the group must do their jingle2. The jingle is presented for 2-3 minutes

PALARONG PINOY
KALAMANSI DANCE
Guidelines:
1. The participants must be in pair either by same gender (female to female,male to male) or different gender (female to male, male to female)
2. The pair must dance3. The pair cannot touch the kalamansi but can touch each other for
support and balance
4. There is no time limit5. The pair wherein their kalamansi fall-off is already considered disqualified
Mechanics:
1. Look for a pair2. Place the kalamansi between the two foreheads3. The hands can either be placed at the side or at the back but never
touching the kalamansi
4. The pair will dance along with the music5. When the kalamansi falls off, the pair is considered out of the game6. The last pair standing without the kalamansi falling off wins
Materials needed:

KALAMANSI RELAY
Guidelines:
1. There must be 5 groups consists of 6 members each2. There is no time limit3. The spoon must be placed in the mouth while the kalamansi is on it4. Touching the spoon or kalamansi is prohibited5. Walking, fast-paced walking or even strut is the only thing allowed.
Running is forbidden.
Mechanics:1. Make a straight line with 6 members each per group and each line has an
in-between post
2. The first person will place the spoon on his or her mouth and thekalamansi on it; while on it, the hands must be at the back to avoid
touching the spoon and kalamansi
3. The first person will either walk or strut towards the post and encircle itto return to the line

4. If the kalamansi falls-off the spoon, the person must go back to the lineand place the kalamansi on the spoon and restart walking
5. When the first person returns to the line, he or she will place thekalamansi on the spoon of the next member without even touching the
kalamansi and start walking again
6. The first group to finish all members will winMaterials needed:
Spoon (2 or individual) Kalamansi
LONGEST LINE
Guidelines:
1.
There are 5 groups with 7 members each composed of male and femaleeach
2. The things present in the body is the only acceptable prop needed in theplay
3. Gathering of things once the game started is prohibited4. Line is unlimited5. 5 minutes is the given time to produce a line6. No borrowing of things from the non-participants7. The line must not have breaks or in space between each thing or else it is
not considered to be part of the line
Mechanics:
1. Make 5 groups with 7 members2. Wait for the hosts to yell GO before taking off the things3. When the hosts yell STOP, everybody must stop4. The group with the longest line wins
MARIA WENT TO TOWN
Guidelines:
1. There must be 5 groups with 7 members each2. Each group must have their own beauty kits and apparel3. Each member of the group must have the complete wear before parading4. Walking, fast-paced walking or even strut is the only thing allowed.
Running is forbidden.

PERA OR KARTON
Guidelines:
1. Everyone can participate2. Once the question is given, wait for the host to yell GO before going to
the chosen answer
3. There will be a 5-second time to try changing your answers and once itfinished you cannot change anymore
4. Only one can have the chance to go through the final stage5. There must be no pushing of anyone or else disqualification is the action
Mechanics:
1. Everyone can participate2. There are three choices: A, B, C3. The host will ask a question and when they say GO everyone (straight
line) can place themselves in their chosen answer
If there chosen answer is the correct one, they can proceed to thenext question
If not, the group who had the wrong answer would not have tochance to continue
4. The number 3 is repeated with different question each continuation untilthere is only one who is left behind
5. The person who is left behind is considered the contestant for the finalstage
6. On the final stage, there are 3 kartons and there are secret things inside it7. The contestant will have the freedom to choose his karton and it will be
his or her prize
Materials needed:
Cartons (3) Cards with big letters
SACK RACE
Guidelines:1. There are 5 groups with 7 members each composed of male and female
each group
2. There is no time limit3. Dragging of the sack and pushing of members is prohibited4. Wearing the sack is the appropriate action

Mechanics:
1. Group yourselves into 7 and make a 5 group contestants2. Every group has their own sack to use3. When the hosts yell GO, the first person in line must wear the sack and
hop towards the post
4. Upon reaching the post, he or she must encircle it and return to the line5. When the player has reached the line, he or she must take off the sack
and pass it to the next in line
6. This is repeated until the last member7. The first group to finish all members is considered the winner
