The UTSAPD Community Affairs Section hosted another successful Spring Break Safety Awareness Event on Tuesday, March 6.

With the help of several campus depart-ments and organizations, they were able to provide drug and alcohol aware-ness information and other safety tips to over 100 participants.

Among the activities, attendees had a chance to show off their driving skills with the U in the Driver’s Seat Impaired Vision pedal cart. Drivers learned the dangers of driving while intoxicated. No traffic cones were hurt during the event, but several paper dogs and pedestrians had a close call!
