Email is a method of accepting, forwarding, delivering, storing, and exchanging messages, documents or any other files from one to the other with the use of internet or other computer network.

This may be sent to two or more persons.

WIKI

• Wiki is usually a web application which allows user to add, modify, or delete content in collaboration with others.

• Differs from blogs because content is created without any defined owner.

• Allows structure to emerge according to the needs of the users.

o A centralized online service which enables users to add, annotate, edit and share bookmarks of web documents.

o Tagging is a significant feature of social bookmarking systems, enabling users to organize their bookmarks.

HyperText Markup Language

HTML elements form the building blocks of all websites.

HTML allows images and objects to be embedded and can be used to create interactive forms.

HTML is the main markup language for creating web pages and other information that can be displayed in a web browser.

Podcast

A podcast or netcast is a digital medium consisting of an episodic series of audio, video, PDF, or ePub files subscribed to and downloaded through web syndication or streamed online to a computer or mobile device.

Voice over Internet Protocol

is a methodology and group of technologies for the delivery of voice communications and multimedia sessions over Internet Protocol (IP) networks, such as the Internet. Other terms commonly associated with VoIP are IP telephony, Internet telephony, voice over broadband (VoBB), broadband telephony, IP communications, and broadband phone service.

Online Chat The expression online

chat comes from the word chat which means “informal conversation”.

Online chat is any kind of communication through the use of the Internet.

Chat messages are generally short in order to enable other participants to respond quickly.

World Wide Web A system of interlinked hypertext documents accessed via the Internet.

With a web browser, one can view web pages that may contain texts, videos, images, and other multimedia and navigate between them via hyperlinks.

A truncation of the expression web log.

A blog is a discussion on informational site published on the World Wide Web.

It is also a way of expressing one’s feelings, thoughts, emotions , etc.

Blogs were usually the work of a single individual, occasionally of a small group, and often covered a single subject.

Social networking

• A social networking service is a platform to build social networks or social relations among people who, for example, share interests, activities, backgrounds or real-life connections.

• It is also a form of communication to other people or may be your distant relative that you wish to talk with.

• Some of the sites may also be downloaded through your mobile or smart phones.

Streamingo Streaming media is multimedia

that is constantly received by and presented to an end-user while being delivered by a provider.

o Its verb form, "to stream", refers to the process of delivering media in this manner; the term refers to the delivery method of the medium rather than the medium itself.

Uniform Resource Locator is a form of URI and is a

standardized naming convention for addressing documents accessible over the Internet.

A URL is a formatted text string used by Web browsers, email clients and other software to identify a network resource on the Internet. Network resources are files that can be plain Web pages, other text documents, graphics, or programs.
