Drain line must terminate
at least 1 metre away from tank.

Place storage tanks in position.

Commercial Heat Pump 7. Connect reducer fittings
Connect reducer fittings.
Repeat for all inlets/outlets on each
storage tank.

Check position of tanks
inlets/outlets must be parallel to wall.
Fit the branch assembly to manifold
and storage tank.
Solder connections as required.
Compression nut,
Flared pipe end or
similar
NB: Gate valve or ball valve ONLY to
be used in branches
DO NOT install non-return valves
or loose jumper valves

to all required inlets/outlets.

Connect TPR valves to each tank.

Terminate drain lines at least
1 metre away from tanks.

Connect the drain line to
the pressure relief valve.
Drain line must termin ate at least
1 metre away from Heat Pump

Remove the front cover panel.

Connect the 3 Phase power cable.
Secure wires with screws provided
in the Terminal Block.
Observe correct phase rotation.
Tighten firmly.

Secure the conduit to heat pump
using brackets.
Tighten screws firmly.
Do not obstruct cover panel opening.

Connect primary circulation
pump wiring to heat pump.

connectors on the terminal block.
Push retaining lug down and insert wire

Replace pump cover and screw.
If outdoors affix a suitable weather
cover over the primary pump.

Commercial Heat Pump 15. Fit tank sensor
Remove the protective cap from one of the tanks.
Remove the threaded plug.
Insert the sensor well into the tank and tighten firmly.

Commercial Heat Pump 16. Replace heat pump cover panel
Replace Heat Pump cover panel. Secure conduit.
Do not obstruct control panel opening.
