It gives me great pleasure to launch this first edition of the CommerceZone Preferred Supplier Guide.

We hope this Guide will make it easier for buyers to identify the preferred suppliers for each of the

commodities and services managed by CommerceZone.

The benefit for Naspers in using CommerceZone preferred suppliers is substantial. Spend on

CommerceZone negotiated contracts has steadily grown year on year and now exceeds R1 billion

per annum. This translated into savings well in excess of R200 million for the Naspers South African

Group for the 2013/4 financial year.

In addition to the identification of the correct supplier(s), we also encourage buyers to make use of

the electronic catalogues loaded on CZEasyBuy. This ensures process efficiencies and guarantees

that the latest supplier pricing is applied at the point of purchase.

We also encourage suppliers to participate in our supplier roadshow programme. This gives an

excellent opportunity to connect with the Naspers business representatives.

E-ProcurementCommerceZone provides a hosted e-procurement platform with a set of related services that add content and value to the hosted solution.CommerceZone’s e-Procurement solution ensures absolute control over procurement expenditure before the fact, replacing cumbersome paper-based ordering systems with an efficient electronic solution. Our solution caters for all aspects of procurement from shopping carts, purchase orders, Goods / Services confirmations, PO Invoices and Sundry Invoices. Our solution can be integrated with your financial system to fully automate the Procure to Pay process.

Strategic SourcingOur end-to-end Strategic Sourcing Solution incorporates Sourcing, Contract Management, Catalogue Management and Supplier Performance Management.

• Key benefits of Strategic Sourcing include greater spend visibility, control of more spending categories, as well as demand management and business compliance. By narrowing the number of suppliers, standardising processes and entering into mutually beneficial contracts, our customers and suppliers achieve improvements in cost, quality, preferential procurement and time.

• Contracts are actively managed throughout their lifecycle in order to manage business risks, ensure service standards and improve price competitiveness.

• Centralised Catalogue Management reduces purchasing time and effort though a range of functions that include structured search, easy product selection and intuitive price comparisons. It also simplifies product and price maintenance and facilitates enriched content with images and attachments.

• Supplier Performance Management ensures suppliers meet contract expectations through identification of performance gaps and agreement of actions to achieve desired performance levels. CommerceZone provides supplier onboarding services, conducts road shows for new suppliers, and ensures queries are managed and resolved within the agreed SLA.

Travel SolutionsCommerceZone provides a holistic Travel Management Solution to our customers. Our strategic approach includes the design and management of travel policies, travel supplier negotiations, contract and service level agreement management and day to day operation of your corporate travel program. CommerceZone is not a Travel Agency: because the system is travel supplier agnostic it allows customers to select the appropriate travel suppliers for your operational needs.

Preferential ProcurementOur Preferential Procurement and Reporting solution can be seamlessly integrated into your Procure to Pay process. The impartial service includes:

• A web based BBBEE Supplier Database for 24/7 access to supplier details and BBBEE information.

• A dedicated BBBEE Supplier Management team that ensures information and credentials are up to date, compliant and integrated into your procure to pay process.

• A Consulting service which offers pre-verification assessment, data preparation for management/verification agencies, and policy consulting and compilation.

• Spend analysis across all BBBEE levels including EME and QSE suppliers. Spend analysiss by Black Ownership is also available.

• A full range of automated Preferential Procurement reports using data extracted from the ERP system.

FunctionThe Service Desk is a single point of contact for all SRM EasyBuy users. Users are able to contact the service desk to report any disruption to existing system access and functionality or register a request for new services.

Incidents and service requests are channelled to the various support teams for resolution.

All calls logged at the Service Desk are subject to agreed service levels and are monitored and tracked to completion.

First-Line SupportThe Service Desk will perform basic 1st Line support, but has limited system access and will generally refer the more complex incidents to the remaining support teams for resolution.

The Service Desk is responsible for providing feedback to the user base for all open calls but this is usually dependent on feedback from the support team to whom these calls are assigned.

The support teams are expected to liaise directly with the user when working on their requests.

Call EscalationsThe Service Desk is responsible for tracking progress on all calls and to provide updates on all calls.

The 1st Line agents always do a sanity check regarding the status of the calls, to ensure that all calls are resolved within the agreed service levels. They follow up with various departments and send call statistics to all the departments on a daily basis at close of business.

In the event that turn-around times are compromised and the business needs to escalate the progress of such calls, they can contact the Service Desk Manager directly on 011 289 4336 to follow up on the open call and provide feedback.

Off the Wall Events is a dynamic and forward thinking company with highly qualified owners and staff. Many years of experience in the event and entertainment industries has given Off the Wall a competitive edge and ensures innovative ideas and a highly professional service offering.

Since Off the Wall Events started as Off the Wall Management in 1991, we have managed and coordinated over 600 events, including roadshows, conferences, seminars, gala events, tours, exhibitions, government events, activations and launches.

Off the Wall offers exciting brand solutions through experiential marketing and brand activations. We offer creative and exciting events that drive your brand through various media and utilising powerful touch points, engaging your target market in unique and innovative ways.

We are fortunate to have an impressive list of loyal clients, many of whom utilise our services year after year. Anglo Platinum (12 years), M-Net (13 years), Avis (7 years), State IT Agency (8 years), SABS (3 years) Nashua Mobile (7 years) are just a few of our regular blue chip clients that attest to our consistently excellent delivery.

We have more recently moved into the government sector with long term contracts with departments such as City of Joburg, City of Tshwane, Department of Sports and events undertaken for organisations such as Land Bank and the Department of Correctional Services.

Due to our long term relationships with our suppliers, we are able to create events at incredibly short notice when called on to do so, as we did for for the IEC after the 2011 Municipal Elections. We were given the go ahead on Thursday 22h00 for an event on Saturday at 18h00 that was for 1 000 pax and attended by all major political parties and the President!

Each event is different and has unique elements and the diversity of skills we have all gathered over the years is outstanding. These are skills and contacts that only experience can give, that no amount of training can supply and this expertise places us exceptionally well for handling emergencies and last minute changes.

Ogilvy & Mather South Africa’s origins lie with a small hot shop in Cape Town, founded by Bob Rightford, Brian Searle-Tripp and Roger Makin in 1976. After merging with Ogilvy & Mather in 1980, Ogilvy & Mather RS-TM dominated the local creative scene during the first decade and over the next twenty years was recognised as a brand-focused agency that acted with integrity.

During the 1990’s, O&M soared creatively under the leadership of Robyn Putter (1950-2010), who eventually went on to become the global creative head of WPP — one of the world’s largest advertising holding companies.

Today, O&M is a leader in the industry, focused on building and transforming brands. True to David’s vision, O&M still sees itself as a company that does more than advertisements and has proven that, by maintaining humility at past successes, it can do more than stay relevant.

For more than 50 years, O&M has created iconic advertising for clients such as MultiChoice, KFC, VW, SAB, BP and Mondeléz International, and it continues to live by its founders credo of “We sell, or else”.

Pursuing creativity and effectiveness

Driven by its ‘twin peaks’ philosophy, which relates to always pursuing success in both creativity and effectiveness, the agency’s performance at both local and international awards demonstrates that O&M truly is in the business of break-

through ideas. The overall Creative Circle rankings for 2012, released in 2013, not only saw the agency ranked number one, but its final score was almost double that of its closest competitor.

In spite of its track record, O&M has remained humble and committed to keep evolving and reinventing itself to be an effective partner to its clients. We attribute our success to the substantial depth and quality of our people. With more than 800 of the country’s top specialists in advertising, PR, CRM, data, activation and more — all under one roof — our clients are able to access the full range of O&M’s extensive offerings, seamlessly integrated through central points of contact. Committed to developing breakthrough creativity, O&M has proven its ability to achieve success for clients across every channel and touch-point.

A culture of Divine Discontent

O&M never stops believing whole-heartedly in a culture of ‘Divine Discontent’, which encourages it to keep evolving and innovating for the benefit of both its clients and its people.

So, while it may be one of the biggest communications groups in South Africa, this hasn’t slowed down the quest to always do better. Ogilvy & Mather is always striving to be nimble and agile, not only in spite of — but because of — its size.

ORIJIN is a leading Design, Animation, Production and Broadcast Design Group in South Africa. In 2010 ORIJIN was rated amongst the top 5 Broadcast Design companies in the world.

We are a BBBEE level one contributor.

360° creative solutions

As a one-stop digital agency, we offer clients true 360° creative solutions. We are devoted to producing the most innovative and highest-quality productions across a variety of media platforms, from Broadcast Design, Online Videos, Animation, On-Air Promos, Visual Effects, Production and Post-Production, Interactive Design, Print and Innovative Event Solutions.

Close to 6 billion hours of Online Videos are watched each month on YouTube. Combined with other Social Media Platforms, Online Videos are clearly a huge communication channel to a massive audience out there. ORIJIN can assist to create your Brand’s own Online Video content.

ORIJIN boasts a host of the latest hardware and software technology, with six broadcast edit suites, twelve animation studios, two Sound Recording/Mixing and Sound Engineering studios, Production Facilities, Film crews, Set Building Facilities and some of the industry’s top national and international designers, strategists and copywriters.

Experienced, dynamic teams

Our management is one of the most experienced and dynamic teams in the industry, overseeing a stellar collection of artistic and technical leaders from a wide range of backgrounds in advertising, broadcast, entertainment, marketing, film, production and animation. Many of them have been with the company since its inception in 2002.

Whatever the project or production demands, our artists combine their passion and skill with a wide variety of innovative technologies to exceed expectations, whatever your brief.

With world-class creative talent and technological capabilities – this is a community that embraces new ideas and innovative thinking, and the results are always achieved with phenomenal success.

As a collective of like-minded creatives, what we would like to call holistic designers, we embrace change in the global creative arena on many levels - be it on improved hardware capabilities, new developments in software to new communication channels such as Social Media.

We therefore tend to work with designers who can animate, as opposed to an old school model where design and animation are viewed as separate entities.

Our approach to interpreting and embracing this design ethic ensures an end product for clients that is consistently original, current, innovative and awe inspiring.

Testimony to our design ethos

To date, the over 70 local and international awards ORIJIN has gathered on a global platform against big budget networks such as Disney, Warner Brothers, Fox, MTV, etc., stand testimony to the success of our design ethos that encourages creatives to intuitively explore the borders of what defines Design, Production, Visual Effects and Animation today.

Communication is the lifeblood of any business process. ORIJIN is positioned to add value to this voice through effective results driven communication. Our business solutions are geared towards delivering a leading edge in an increasingly competitive market.

CSI AND TRAINING AND RHINO DONATION ‘ALL IN ONE’

Introducing Futurevista

• An organisation dedicated to setting the bar in computer training and sustainability for companies, employees and students • Creating an equal opportunity for all children within South Africa and beyond to receive the highest standard in computer literacy education

For nearly two decades, Futurevista has been providing a diverse and customised variety of computer training solutions to a dynamic client base consisting of primary and high schools, educators, school administration staff, private students as well as corporate companies in and around South Africa.

“Futurevista’s CSI initiative was born out of the need to create an opportunity for South African organisations to not only empower themselves and further their employees as a way of creating sustainable business practices and developing staff, but to enable these organisations to support and further the youth of South Africa through the sponsorship of their own developed computer literacy curriculum in the government education sector,” says Lindsay van den Broeck, founder and Managing Member of Futurevista.

Lindsay continues, “We are passionate about making a difference and this passion is conveyed through our exceptional service delivery. It is this passion and dedication to the development of computer literacy within South Africa that has allowed us the opportunity to reach well over 80 000 children each month. It is vital for each and every school, teacher and child to understand the power and value of computer literacy in terms of both the personal and career development opportunities these skills can provide.”

“It goes without saying that South Africa, despite its challenges, offers a vast amount of opportunity for those individuals possessing an entrepreneurial mind and skills set. It is with this in mind that we aim to develop the minds of entrepreneurs, enhancing their skills and ultimately attempting to enrich the lives of all South Africans in the process. Entrepreneurs create jobs which is exactly what South Africa needs.”

Our initiative is extremely unique in that it provides value to both the beneficiary and the sponsor. When your company completes training with Futurevista, they have automatically generously sponsored government schools, their teachers and their children with computer literacy education for a year. We provide the vital link that ensures the success of a computer classroom. Installation of hardware and software is the first step - our skills progression age appropriate computer literacy curriculum provides this solution. The success of this initiative relies on our continuous monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of our curriculum, making this a sustainable partnership between ourselves, the sponsors and the schools.

Futurevista’s Training & CSI Initiative Overview:

• Sponsor schools annually and reach thousands of learners and teachers for only R5 868 (ex vat) each.• Receive the same value in training and up-skill your own staff.• Receive invaluable marketing via our website, mails and press releases.• R10 is donated to Save the Rhino Project per school sponsorship.• Receive your CSI Certificate, claim from SDL and assist your BBBEE Status.

Together we ARE making a difference.

By partnering with iLearn, you will benefit from 13 years of training experience in the public and private sectors within Southern Africa. Our understanding of skills development and the meeting of client expectations ensures that the training you or your employees receive will make a measurable business impact. Our certified trainers are experienced educators and highly knowledgeable in their fields of expertise.

iLearn offers a wide range of training solutions such as:

• Business skills• IT desktop applications• IT technical• Learnerships• Design & media• Learner Management Systems• Custom course development• Language courses

We provide both onsite instructor-led (group and one-on-one) and online training methodologies.

ONSITE | INSTRUCTOR-LED TRAINING

A leading challenge for any organisation is finding a training provider who understands the requirements of the individual or organisation and can deliver a solution within an allocated time frame without compromising on quality. Our training approach is unique. Traditionally, a number of individuals would be sent to an off-site venue for a full day’s training, whereas we prefer to send a trainer to your premises arranged on dates and times that you require. Delegates receive training in more manageable sessions arranged over a spread of a few days.

This allows for greater absorption of knowledge and an opportunity to practice and verify the new skills after each session prior to commencing the next one.

As candidates range from beginners to advanced, we determine the level of training before training begins and courses are personalised to enable learners to master the skills they need. The outcome is learners’ comfort and confidence in their new skills, and the ability to effectively apply them to the business at hand.

ONLINE | TRAINING

eLearning courses are a highly effective and convenient way to learn. Complimentary to our onsite solutions, online training provides you with a platform to learn at your own pace, scheduled within your time Constraints. Online training is not geographically limited. Blended solutions ensure both flexibility and application into the work place.

Our online course content is recognised as best of breed and is internationally benchmarked.

iLearn’s intention is to increase staff productivity and therefore profitability, which far exceeds the value of the initial training investment. As we are MICT and Services SETA accredited, you are able to claim on your skills development levy spend.

ACCREDITATION

• BBBEE Level 2.• MICT SETA Accredited (ACC 2012/01/831) & Services SETA Accredited (4159).• Microsoft Certified Learning Solutions Partner.• IBTA Certified Business Professional authorised training provider.
