I. Unit Purpose

ComfortControl‑Mitsubishi unit is designed for Comfort system control (automatic windows closing) for Mitsubishi Lancer X (2006 – 2010), Outlander XL, L200 (2007‑2010) and Pa‑jero Sport (2009‑) Hatch control is not available (for Mitsubishi L200 the glass in between cargo bay and vehicle interior is not controlled)

The unit allows enabling the Comfort system and disabling it (for example, to ventilate the ve-hicle’s interior)

Attention! The unit is not designed for operating in Mitsubishi Lancer X of 2011 model year (manufactured since September 2010) The distinguishing feature of these vehicles is that there is no automatic mode for three passenger doors in window lifter buttons cluster on the driver’s door

Information on unit port outputs assigning is shown at Tables 1 and 2 and Figures 1 and 2

II. 6‑contact unit port outputs description

Contact No 1 – Ground is connected to vehicle body in one of the areas determined by manu-facturer for connecting the original electrical equipment ground

Contact No 2 – (+) input is connected to vehicle wire where a constant level signal is formed when the ignition is turned on If this output is connected, then the launch of comfort system is carried out only when the ignition is off If this output is not connected then the launch of comfort system is carried out in both cases (ignition on or off)

Contact No 3 – LIN OUT is connected into the breakage of vehicle LIN bus from the doors’ side (see Unit connection section for details)

Contact No 4 – unit power supply is connected to one of vehicle wires with constant +12V voltage

Contact No 5 – (-) input – when a negative impulse is sent to this input, Comfort system is activated

Contact No 2 – Power supply is connected to one of vehicle wires that has constant +12V voltage

IV. Unit connection

Unit application in Mitsubishi Lancer X (2006‑2010)

ConneCtion in the port behind the dashboard

Algorithm of connecting green/white and green/black wires of the unit:1 Turn the ignition on and off2 Disconnect the port with violet wires from the connector (see Fig 3)3 Find the violet wire with signal by means of LED tester (the signal is present only on one

of five violet wires within 1 minute since the ignition has been turned off)4 Cut this wire Connect the green/white wire of the unit from the port’s side and the green/

black wire from the vehicle’s side in this wire’s breakage1st contact (window lifters power supply) of the 2-contact unit port is connected to any of the red

wires (see Fig 3)

ConneCtion to the mounting bloCk port (the bloCk is loCated to the left under the dashboard)White/red wire of the unit is connected to the white wire coming to the contact No 2 of the

port indicated in Fig 42nd contact of 2-contact unit port is connected to the white wire with large section through 30A

fuse (see Fig 4) This is also the place to connect the red wire of 6-contact unit port through 5A fuse
