COMENIUS

Comenius (Comenius program called) -is the part of Socrates I, Socrates II and the Lifelong Learning Programme for Education in the European Union. Received the name in honor of living at the turn of the sixteenth and seventeenth century Czech teacher and philosopher, Jan Amos Comenius.

ourselves,deepening awareness of their own distinct regional and national, but also belonging to the European family.

Project with theme "Remote control mechatronics systems as a basic cooperation at European level" was realized under the Comenius action. Took place in four cities in different countries of Europe: Raciborz (Poland), Blanes (Spain), Opava (Czech Republic), Braunschweig (Germany).

In Raciborz emphasis has been placed on the programming of mobile robots Hexor II.Except that, students had the opportunity to become familiar with computer aided design in environment, Edge CAM and Solid Edge, basics programming of Cartesian robot, and PLC.

The second stage of the project, have been continued in the town of Blanes in Spain. The theme for this part of the project was to control automated production line using STEP 7th. Also, our students with their colleagues from Germany and Czech Republic met, issues related with the control systems and devices, programming logic controllers (PLC / SPS) and the design of pneumatic controls.

The third part of the Comenius project took place in the Czech Republic. During theirs stay in Opava exchange participants familiarized themselves with the design of components and assemblies of machines in programs like a CAD and CAM, as well as the basics of programming and operating on the CNC machines. The result was to design a simple item, and then write and run the program for its treatment on the type of numerically controlled machine CNC.
