TRANSFERS by Junior Handlers from Novice to Open Class or from the Open to Master Class MUST be made to the Superintendent/Show Secretary at least one half hour prior to the scheduled start of Junior Showmanship judging at the show. SUBSTITUTIONS of Junior Showmanship dogs must be made at least one half hour prior to the judging of any Junior Showmanship classes at the show. MOVE UP OF DOGS IN OBEDIENCE/RALLY CLASSES (Ch. 1 Section 16 of Obedience Regulations) The request for a move up must be in writing and presented to the Superintendent/Trial Secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of each trial. Thursday, May 24, 2012 • Friday, May 25, 2012 • Saturday, May 26, 2012 • Sunday, May 27, 2012Please join the West Michigan Apple Blossom Cluster clubs --- the Pontiac Kennel Club, Inc., the Holland Michigan Kennel Club, the Grand Rapids Kennel Club, the Kalamazoo Kennel Club, Inc. and the Greater Muskegon Kennel Club --- in its fifth annual Breeder's Cup.Best Bred by Exhibitor Competition will be held during the Pontiac Kennel Club, Inc. show on Thursday, Holland Michigan Kennel Club Show on Friday, Grand Rapids Kennel Club Show on Saturday and Kalamazoo Kennel Club, Inc. Show on Sunday. Each Bred by Exhibitor group will be judged by the regular group judges immediately after regular group judging is completed. there is no extra fee to enter, but your dog must be entered in the bred by Exhibitor Class in order to qualify. the breeder/owner of record must exhibit the dog through all levels of the breeders' Cup Competition i.e. bred by Exhibitor Class, the bred by Exhibitor group and the breeders' Cup finale on sunday.The winners of each group from Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday will compete for the Breeders' Cup on Sunday. This competition will take place immediately before Best in Show judging on Sunday.

TRANSFERS by Junior Handlers from Novice to Open Class or from the Open to Master Class MUST be made to the Superintendent/Show Secretary at least one half hour prior to the scheduled start of Junior Showmanship judging at the show. SUBSTITUTIONS of Junior Showmanship dogs must be made at least one half hour prior to the judging of any Junior Showmanship classes at the show. MOVE UP OF DOGS IN OBEDIENCE/RALLY CLASSES (Ch. 1 Section 16 of Obedience Regulations) The request for a move up must be in writing and presented to the Superintendent/Trial Secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of each trial. Move ups for Obedience may be approved, provided the next level class and judge are available and the class has not reached its limit.

The West Michigan Apple Blossom Cluster is offering, for the first time in 2012, a Best Junior in Cluster competition.Grand Prize is a $500.00 scholarship
The Best Junior Handler selected each day (Pontiac, Holland, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Muskegon Kennel Clubs), along with the first place in each Open Class from each day, will compete for Best Junior Handler in the Cluster, at noon at the Greater Muskegon Kennel Club show on May 28, 2012.The West Michigan Apple Blossom Cluster Junior Showmanship Scholarship Award will be awarded for post-secondary schooling at the duly accredited college (two or four year) or technical school of the recipient's choice, provided that the written verification of the recipient's status as a current full-time (12 credits or more per semester) student is received by the West Michigan Apple Blossom Cluster directly from the selected educational institution. All monies will be held by the West Michigan Apple Blossom Cluster until such verification is received, and then will be paid directly to the educational institution and not to the Award recipient.
RV & CAMPING INFORMATIONOver 150 campsites are available at the show site for RVs, campers, and tents. Prepaid reservations made by the time entries close are recommended. Sites will be approxi-mately 20’ x 50’, if you want 2 sites they must be reserved at the same time. Sites will be regulated. Exhibitors desiring sites together must submit their reservations together. Generators may be operated in the general camping area but they must be vented up or away from neighboring campers and dogs. Electrical service is not always next to your site – bring extension cords. PLEASE DO NOT OVERLOAD THE CIRCUITS. Please put trash in dumpsters. Dogs may not be exercised on a flexi-lead on show grounds during show hours. Cost is $30.00 per night or $125.00 for the five nights with a reservation for all sites. Reservations must have been received by the closing date of entries, May 9, 2012

Extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited to, snow storms, hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat, heavy rains, or other circumstances including, but not limited to, the condition of the facilities or grounds and/or the ingress and egress from the grounds, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors and spectators. The well-being of dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and, in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the show before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made.

ouR FACilitiEs And sERViCEs: • Conformation rings are indoors on concrete and outdoors on grass. Outdoor
rings have ample tenting. Obedience/Rally rings are indoors. • Food vendors and a variety of booths will be present. • Showers and handicapped-accessible restrooms are available. Fairgrounds
provides dumping stations. • Motels, restaurants, service stations and stores are conveniently located. • All Buildings will be locked between 10:30 P.M. and 6:00 A.M. • The Kalamazoo County Convention And Visitors Bureau will have an information
booth at each show.FAiRgRound RulEs: • Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the fairgrounds. • Smoking is prohibited in all public buildings. • Electrical cords may not cross driveways by order of the Fire Marshal. • Tampering with barriers and signs is prohibited. • Persons violating these rules may be subject to disciplinary action.unloAding inFoRMAtion: • The show grounds will be available after 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012.
The campgrounds may be available earlier at the event committee’s discretion. • Please follow the directions of the parking attendants to facilitate an orderly traffic

PlEAsE REAd thE FolloWing RulEs bEFoRE You sEtuP: • The grooming area has been marked by the event committee to assist you in
setting up in an organized fashion. Your cooperation in placing your tables and crates in accordance with our layout will be appreciated.
• No rugs or ground cover mats are allowed on the floor. no soft sided crates in the grooming areas. this will be strictly enforced.
• No private exercise pens. There is ample room for private ex-pens outdoors. • Exercise pens may not be used as crates. Crates must be stacked. • Empty grooming space may not be saved. First come, first served is the rule.

• Small ring side tables and crates are only allowed at ring side during the judging of a single breed. The event committee may order these tables and crates to be removed at their discretion. Please do not abuse this privilege.
• Crates in the Obedience/Rally room must be placed in the designated area only and stacked as much as possible.
• Dogs may not be exercised on a flexi-lead on show grounds during show hours. CAMPing inFoRMAtion: • There is ample parking for RVs and other camping vehicles. RV parking for all
sites is $30.00 per day or $125.00 for 5 days with a reservation. Reservations must have been received by closing date of show.
• Camping area will be patrolled between May 23-28, but it must be distinctly understood that the presence of this patrol is a courtesy to exhibitors.
• Exhibitors who desire adjoining sites must submit their reservations together. • Generators may be operated in the general camping area but they must be vented
up or away from neighboring campers and dogs. • the fairground provides dumpsters for trash. do not leave bags of trash
on the grounds. • Private golf carts or similar vehicles and scooters are not allowed in main
pedestrian areas. Please keep away from the tents. PARKing inFoRMAtion: • Vehicle admission is $5.00 per vehicle per day or $20.00 for a 5 day pass. • All traffic signs, handicap and fire lane signs must be observed. Violators will be
towed. • General parking in the campground area is prohibited. • Saving space with cones will not be allowed. Cones found in the parking lots after
8:00 A.M. and before 3:00 P.M. will be stacked. AdMission FEE And CAtAlog PRiCE: • No charge for admission. Persons bringing children to the shows shall be
responsible for their supervision and conduct. • Catalog $10.00.
THECLUBS,THEIRMEMBERS,DIRECTORS,OFFICERS,AGENTS,SHOWSUPERIN-TENDENTS,ANDEMPLOYEESof said Kennel Clubs and/or their Superintendents, will not be liable for any loss or injury which may be sustained through the loss, theft, injury, and/or death of dogs entered in these events, whether said loss, theft, injury and/or death is or are caused by the negligence or carelessness of said Kennel Clubs, and/or employees of its Superintendent or by the negligence of any person or by any other cause.We recommend that all dogs present at the show be immunized in accordance to their veterinary recommendations.
