combinator Combinator is a Seattle-based, soulful, funky rock band. Less a melting pot than a steaming cauldron of goodness, Seattle band Combinator deftly blends the sensual playfulness of funk, the driving energy of rock, and the spirit of improvisation found in jazz into an original and soul-satisfying tour de force. An innovative trio at its core, the group is often augmented by electronics, wind instruments, and percussion in an ever changing - and always thrilling - live show. Combinator was born in Seattle, WA in early 2013 when long-time musical co- conspirators Isaac Chirino and Sean Fairchild were introduced by mutual friends to the recent New York transplant and guitarist wunderkind, Greg Pascale. Hitting it off instantaneously, they were playing shows together by that summer. The band released their first EP, Vice & Passion, in late 2013 and have been vigorously supporting it through local and regional shows and social media campaigns. With more shows scheduled and another recording on the horizon in 2014, Combinator shows absolutely no signs of slowing their roll.
