Friedman advised the investigators that he hasnJt spoken with Klehold much since that date which was over a year previous. Decective Demmel confirmed with Friedman that Friedman had in fact left school third period due to the fact he was not feeling well, Detective Demmel asked Friedman if he had observed anything strange at or around the school before or as he was leaving the scheel that date, Friedman advised he had not observed anything out of the ordinary. Friedman also advised, however, that he is in charge at the school yearbook staff. He advised that one of his staff members Courtney Shakowski had told him that she a person bring a large duffle bag into the cafeteria on the date of the homicides. Friedman did not elaborate on the information he had received from Shakowski. Detective oemmel asked Friedman if Eric Harris and/or Dylan Klebold had rented videos from employer Video City Friedman advised the investigators that he did not remember Harris or Klebold ever renting videos from Video City. Detective Demmel asked Friedman if he had ever sOcialized with Eric Harris or Oylan Klebold. and assisted them in making video tapes of themselves and their actkvieies, Friedman replied negatively. Detective Demmel asked Friedman if he had ever had rtarris or Klebold over to his residence. Friedman once Again replied negatively. Friedman described his relationship with Robyn Anderson as having dated for approximately one month between their junior and senior high school years. Friedman advised there waS nothing else to the relationship between himself and Anderson. Detective Demmel asked Friedman if he had ever used Harris' or Klebold's web page and if he had ever with them in computer chat rooms. advised he had not communicated with Harris or Klebold in any computer chat rooms. Friedman advised he had heard rumors around school, however, that members of the Trench Coat Mafia were into hacking into computer syscems, Deceotive asked Friedman how many persons he believed were members of or associated with Trench Coat Mafia. Friedman advised he was unsure but believed there were approximately 10 to 15 persons claiming to be involved with Trench Coat Mafia, Friedman advised that he had been led to believe by rumors that the Trench Coat Mafla was a very formalized group. He advised he had heard rumors that they even held initiations to become members. He advised he really didn't know that Harris and Kleboldwere part of or claiming to be part of Trench Coat Mafia, Headvised it was his opinion that the Trench Coat Mafia was at itslargest last year and was mostly led by Joe Stair. He advised thatStair wore a trench coat all the time. Friedman advised thisschool year most of the persons whom he had been led to believewere members of Trench Coat Mafia had dressed more normally andrarely wore their trench coats.

He advised that Robyn Anderson oftenassisted Klebold with his calculus.

Friedman made telephone contact from his residence with hisemployer and the owner of video City, Dianna compton (deb;06/08/63) Friedman advised the investigators that Compton advisedhim chat Eric Harris had a membership at Video City.
Friedman had no other information to add ~o this interview andthe interview was concluded at 1715 hours,
On t~is same date at approximately 1730 hours. DetectiveDemmel and lnvestigator Eaton responded to the Video City store andwere able to make contact with owner Dianna Compton. Comp~on
advised the investigators that Eric Harris' facher, Wayne Harris,had become a member of video City on February 13, 1999. Comptonadvised chat on that date Wayne Harris re.nted a movie titled "TheTruman Show." She advised he rented the movie on the date hesigned up for the rnemb~rship, Compton retrieved the rental rece~pc
from her reco~ds and confirmed thae wayne Harris had s~9ned therental agreement on that data. Compton also advised that on April13, 1999 Wayne Harris had rented the movie titled llT2l:x:i Driver. 1f
She advised once a9a~n Wayne Harris had signed the rentalagreement. Compeon advised she had been unable to locate any otherrentals from the Harris family and thus no rencals by Eric Rarris,Compton also checked her membership rOster but was unable to locateany information leading her to believe that the Klebold family wasa member of Video City, The investigators did not seize thepreviously mentioned receipts.
The investigators concluded the interview with Compeon acapproximately 1745 hours.

Rachael Christina Goodwin, DOB 09/10/1981, 7754 WestPlymouth Place, Littleton, Colorado, telephone (303)973-2746, asenior at Columbine High School, was interviewed at her home inthe presence of her mother, Margo Goodwin, by Special Agent(SA)Ricky V. wright regarding the incident that took place on04/20/1999 at columbine High School. After being advised as tothe identity of the interviewing agent and the nature of theinterview, Goodwin provided the following information:
On the day of the shooting, Goodwin stayed home most ofthe day beoause she was sick. However, Goodwin did come toschool to attend her fourth period AP English c'Laaa , Goodwin gotout of AP English at approximately 11:10 am, and went directly tothe oafeteria. Goodwin normally had lunch then, but decided togo baok home. Goodwin walked through the cafeteria and went outone of the doors on the south side of the cafeteria. Goodwin didnot see any large duffle bags while walking through thecafeteria. Goodwin then went to her car in the senior parkinglot and drove home. Goodwin did not see Eric Harris or DylanKlebold while she was leaving.
Goodwin had Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold in her fifthperiod psychology class, but did not know them well. Goodwin didnot know any of the associates of Harris or Klebold.
GOodwin has heard that Jeff Marquardt left to go homefor lunch and walked past Harris and Klebold as he was leaving.

On 06-14-99. at 0941 hours,I called the phone number speaking with a woman, who stated that Grant was workinguntil 1100
hours. 1asked her to have him contact me.
On 06-16-99. at about !406 hours, 1receiveda callfromMatlllew Grant, Itold him that I was contacting' Columbine HighSchool
students 10'find out what theymayhaveseen or heardduring !he incident on04-20-99. Grantstatedthathe was notat the school
on the 20th. He statedthatbe bad tonsillitis and had stayed homein orderto go to a doctor's appointment, Grant stated thathe
had a baseball game in the afternoonand was hoping to mum to the school. He stated that about Il30 hours, he did pullout
ontoPierceattempting to go towards the schoolandfound!hal!he road was blocked, He staled that he drove around andended
up going to the Columbine library, where he met up with friends who toldhim about what occurred.
I asked Grant ifhe knew either Dylan Kleboldor Eric Harris. lie statedthat he had known Harris sincejunior high but Stated
theybad drifted apartduring highschool. He stated thathe knewKlebold by appearance only. 1askedhim if he had seen either
one of them at any point on 04-2G-99. and he stated he had not. I asked him if he bad any conversations with them prior to
incident and he stated he had not, I asked Grant if there was anythingthat be had either seen or heard prior to or sine. the
incident that he thought might be of assistanceto us and be statedthere was not anything,

Kristin said that the same day Daniel told her this, anotherstudentnamedKathrynThompson {9th} also told her that Melissa
had madeidentical statementsto her. Kristinsaidthat she thought Daniel and Kathrynwere both goingto speakwith a school
counselorat the same time.
Kristin said thather sister, Veronica Griffith, mistakenly thoughtthatDaniel hadcalledher at home to tellher this. Kristin said
that she did have a phone conversation during' the eveningon or around 05·06·99, hut that it was not with Daniel Romero.
Rather, Kristin said that she told Veronicaand their motherthat night, the same day she was told this by Daniel and Kathryn
at school.
Kristin said that both she and her sister, Veronica, haveknown Melissa forseveralyears. Kristinsaid that Veronica is actually
betterfriends with Melissathanshe is, bUI that Veronica and Melissa havegrown apartover the years. Kristin said that Melissa
.angs out with "weird" people, which she describedas a "small, tightclique." Kristin said that Melissahas few friends that
she knowsof, and that Melissais rumoredamongcertain studentsto bea lesbian.
Kristin said that she is angry at the notionthat Melissa and/orother students may have had prior knowledge of the Columbine
shootings. Kristin does not knowif it is true,hut said that rumors to thateffect have beencirculatingamongthestudents since
their return to school. Kristin does not know if Melissa is tellingthe t"llth, or simply making up this story. Eitherway. she
considers it inexcusable. The interview was concludedat about l2:05 p.m.

Narrative:On 5-2Q-99 I contacted Hardywhotold me thaton 4-20-99 he was off campus for lunchat McDonald's withJohn Selander and did not witness anything at the school. While at lunch they learned what was happeningat the school and did not return.
Hardy furthertold me that he knew both Harris and Klahold thru a mutual friend (Nate Dykeman) atDykeman's house. This was backin their freshman and sophomore years before Harris and Klabold"changed" and went to the trsnchcoats. While at Dykeman's house theywould all play Nintando or gameson-nne withthe computer. It was backthen that Dykeman showed Hardy an Intsrnetsite that taught youhowto harass people thru largevolumes of E·mail.
Both Harris and Klebold are in Hardy's 1· period bowling class. On 4-20-99 Hardy overslept and missedhis 1~ and 2"" and 3'" period classes. A friend woke him in time for him to makehis 4th periocclass then goto lunch. Hardy did not know if Dykeman was in school on 4-20-99.
