Colour palettes

Colour palette: Red, blue, white and black. Red symbolises blood and fire, and is associated with meanings of love, passion, heat, lust, sexuality, romance, joy, and danger. Blue is a cool colour which makes the models stand out considerably and makes them look more important and also contrasts with the white and red in each of these covers. White symbolises faith and purity. In advertising it can be associated with coolness and cleanliness, as well as it allowing the models to stand out clearly. As well as this black can be associated with power, elegance, and mystery. Black is a mysterious colour that can also be associated with fear and the unknown this not only allows those on the cover to look more pure but also helps them become more noticeable if they happen to be wearing it.
