Key question:

Imagine receiving a call from the Public Health Unit telling you to bring your baby back to the facility for another vaccine. In light of the high profile vaccination has in the community, both for and against, this is a very contentious issue.

Refrigerator configuration:• Only approved baskets in use• Adequate space between products to allow for airflow• Products not touching the back or side walls of the inside of the refrigerator• At least 10 cm surrounding the refrigerator to allow for adequate airflow around the

outside• Appropriate signage on the bottom of the refrigerator• Imprest list laminated and available on the side or top of the refrigerator only• Escalation pathway laminated and available on the side or top of the refrigerator only
