Quality Start Riverside County (QSRC)’s coaching model is designed to help you raise the level of quality in the care and education you provide. Quality Start Coaches provide individualized coaching, resources, and support to best meet your specific professional development objectives. Your Coach will work with you to create goals and a Quality Improvement Plan that is based on your unique strengths and areas of improvement identified during your Quality Start rating and assessment. Coaching Model for Family Child Care Homes TIER 1 - 5 REQUIRED OPTIONAL/HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Program Coaching A QSRC representative will schedule your quarterly coaching visits (in-person or virtually) Coaching visits will take approximately two hours and include an observation and feedback session Communities of Practice (COP) for FCCs All FCC providers must attend one Community of Practice, where you will be connected with other local professionals to learn from one another and improve your skills around specific topics. Participation can be applied toward professional development hours and Child Development Permit applications and renewals. Participation in Ongoing Communities of Practice for FCCs At the first Community of Practice, a coach will work with the group of providers to identify an ongoing schedule of support for Communities of Practice. Please note: QSRC will also work in coordination with embedded site coaches, including hosting information meetings to share practices and resources at a minimum of two times per year.

Program Coaching

Capacitación de Programa

Un representante de QSRC programará sus visitas de capacitación trimestrales (en persona o de manera virtual)

Las visitas de coaching durarán aproximadamente dos horas e incluirán una sesión de observación y comentarios

Comunidades de Práctica para Hogares de Cuidado

de NiñosTodos los Hogares de Cuidado de Niños deben asistir a una Comunidad de Práctica, donde se conectará con otros profesionales locales para aprender unos de otros y mejorar sus habilidades en torno a temas específicos.

La participación se puede aplicar a las horas de desarrollo profesional y las solicitudes y renovaciones de Permisos de Desarrollo Infantil.

Participación en Comunidades de Práctica

Continuas para Hogares de Cuidado de Niños

En la primera de Comunidades de Práctica, un entrenador trabajará con el grupo de proveedores para identificar un cronograma continuo de apoyo para Comunidades de Práctica.

Tenga en cuenta: QSRC también trabajará con los entrenadores de sitio integrados, incluyendo reuniones de información para compartir prácticas y recursos por lo menos dos veces por año.
