“It is our first time exhibiting at FHC and we are very happy and satisfied with the show. Showcasing our products at FHC has allowed us to get one step closer to entering this market and we have made some good contacts here – it is a great place to start our journey into China. We have doubled our space at FHC 2018.”

FHC 2017 STATISTICS
Imported beer boom in China shows no signs of slowingThe Chinese beer market is continuing its trend away from domestic economy lagers towards imported craft beer and premium lagers as shown by its extraordinary growth over the last 5 years. The premium imported beer market will grow by value to over US$ 610 million in 2020 recording 148% growth from current figures.
With the imported beer market estimated to still only make up less than 1% of total Chinese beer consumption there are huge opportunities available to the international market. A recent push by the UK government saw a 350% increase in sales of British beer in 2016 alone.
Over 75,000 importers, distributors and hospitality and retail buyers will visit over the three days of FHC, looking to source international food and drink products for the boundless opportunities in the largest food and drink market in the world.
