Eagle Alert is the new name for Houston Community College’s Early Alert Program which is designed for faculty to identify early in the semester, students who are having academic or personal difficulty that interferes with academic success and progression.

Referrals are sent to the advisor or counselor who in collaboration with faculty and other related stakeholders works to increase the chances of success and retention of referred students.

The purpose of Eagle Alert is to identify issues that prevent student success and to connect students to available resources that will enable them to progress and complete their courses successfully and on time.
