Friends and Family Test

Positive Patient Experience

Staff thoughts on the Friends and Family Test:

“The boost it gives to staff morale, reinforces good behaviours and action and shows where improvement can be made. Nurses now have evidence for change that they have been advocating for”

“Staff describe being dragged kicking and screaming to FFT and thought it was gimmicky in nature but it had the effect of raising the profile of patient experience in their trusts more than any other single intervention.”
