La force d’un territoire se mesure aux interactions,

aux synergies que savent faire naitre ses dif-

férents acteurs, à leur capacité à se mobiliser pour

la réalisation d’un projet… Cette compétition, après

les championnats du monde universitaires d’aviron,

puis de rugby à 7, après de nombreux champion-

nats de France universitaires, dont le dernier en

date avait précisément pour cadre le golf de Plan-

chetorte en 2015, est un superbe illustration de la

capacité des acteurs de ce territoire à fédérer leurs

énergies pour célébrer aujourd’hui les valeurs du

sport et de la jeunesse.

L’Université de Limoges est fière de voir ses étudi-

ants très impliqués dans l’organisation de ce

championnat du monde, investis, enthousiastes,

responsables : ils sont – vous êtes – par l’image

que vous donnez (aux délégations internationales

; à nos partenaires ; au grand public) de notre étab-

lissement les meilleurs ambassadeurs de l’Universi-

té. Vous donnez un sens à notre action, vous nous

donnez l’énergie de concevoir et réaliser de nou-

veaux projets afin de développer, renforcer l’attrac-

tivité de nos territoires et de notre Université.

A territory’s strength can only be measured

through the interactions and synergies gen-

erated by its different actors and their ability to

pull themselves together for the fulfillment of a

project… After the World University Rowing Cham-

pionship of 2004 and the World University Rugby

Sevens Championship of 2012, as well as numerous

French National University Championships, includ-

ing the last France University Golf Championship

held last year at this precise location, this competi-

tion nicely pictures the capacity of our regional ac-

tors to combine and pool their efforts to celebrate

both youth and sport values.

The University of Limoges is proud to see its stu-

dents involved in the organization of this World

University Championship, passionate and responsi-

ble as they are: Through the image of our institu-

tion that they give to the audience (be it the inter-

national delegations, our partners or the public at

large), they are the most effective ambassadors of

the University. They give meaning to our action and

generate new waves of energy within our commu-

nity, which is essential to design and carry out new

projects and to develop and enhance the attractive-

ness both of our region and University.

que j’ai bien golfé et depuis le tee de départ mon golf était bon, même si le score n’est pas exception-nel.

drivé mais le petit jeu ce n’était pas ça.

On sent une vraie solidarité dans

l’équipe italienne, vous vous con-

naissiez avant ? Oui on se connaissait

d’avant, on a énormément joué de

tournois ensemble partout en Italie.

Nous sommes de bons amis. Les garçons

nous aident à nous concentrer, à nous

décontracter, et inversement. Donc oui

nous sommes une équipe très unie.
