Accomplishments

1. Awarded all $100K to 14 recipient (10 PEV, 4 EVSE)

2. Overall received > $1.50 for every dollar spent

3. Garnered significant earned multi-media attention

4. Created 1st high-visibility Greater Portland public charging

5. Created 1st workplace charging clusters at 2 large employers

6. Plans to deploy additional DC Fast Chargers in Maine

7. Collecting PEV data from diverse user demographic

8. Created 2 public charging clusters with parking and signage

9. Forged N.E. regional relationships for ongoing PEV efforts

Next Steps for PEV Development in Maine

1. Create Maine EV Taskforce2. Sign Zero Emission Vehicle MOU3. Create State PEV incentives4. Address electric utility regulations impacting EVSE5. Electrify major travel corridors and urban centers6. Expand workplace charging and fleet investment7. Ongoing public education and outreach
