    2. Connect spike Buster at the output of stabiliser. Output of spikeBuster should be connected to system supply. See supply wiringdiagram for proper connectlon.

    3. Always put off power before removing or inserting cards. Observecorrect placing of cards. See inslde card arrangement diagramfor proper guidance.?4. Before removing any IC, make note of its position and polaritypaper. Remove IC one by one only. That is after first one

    removed and again inserted. Then only remove second one.5. Never leave any conducting metal parts or solder spills on PCB orinside the unit, always clean the PCB, carefully check lt andthen only insert. Remove all fresh unwanted parts from panel.

    (h) Unlockinq:The keyboard can be unlocked by pressing specific sequenaeof keys. This sequence ls 5, 0, 1' Keys must be pressed inthis sequenoe only. Any ciange in seguen@ wlll nd lift thelock. Once lock !s lifted LOCK LED wlll go OFF and keyboardwtll be avallable for further operation'

    VABIFYING TEE-IEOGRAMMED VALTIES:

    All the programmed Temperatures and Tlmer values can be varl-fted by using same steps (1) to (iv) as explatned ln programmlngsections of Tlmers and Ch. no. Only dlf ference ls t}at ln steP(rv) do not enter any numerlc key but just Press ENTER key triccafter verifying the content on respecclve display sets.

    Before starting the system operator should verify that allthe Temperature and Tlmer parameters lncluding Tlmer 0 forscannlng speed ls entered and are ProPer' Once allparameters are entered Press START key' System's operationonce started Temp. Parameter will operate and particularzones Relay will go oN-oFF to achleve set temperature. Thisactlon |s contlnuous and not dependent on display speed ofTemperature which can be programmed ln Timer 0'Timer actlon ls dependent upon the conditions of limit switchinput.During Machlne operation all or any particular 1'emperatureor Timer value can be varified and modified as described inprogramming section. 'Iimers & modesbe programmedproperly andcorrectly. So verlfy these parameter in case of any doubt insystems operation and start the system from master RESET.

    7. TESTIIIG OF SYSTEM:This system has faclltty to Test all thg Input and Outputdevices as weJI as Testing of keyboards and Dlsplays. TestMode can be selected only after Master Reset. To Enter TestMode press master reset key. Nor Press key '5'Now all thedlsplays should be blank and ordy last display of set 3 wlllbe -l to lndicate system has entered lnto TestJ.ng mode. Novrthere are three Test modes. These ale:(a) TEST mode for keyboard and dlsplay.(b) TEST mode for Outputs.(c) TEST mode fgr Input Channels Temp. Channels andLtmtt Swltch.es.

    IThls means 1st contact LS 1 ls ON.If display shows L2 op. (Display Set f) - This means contactis OFF.To come out of thls mode press Master reset key. This vrayoperator can check all conditions of system for its properfunctloning.Thus the system ls versatile, Accurate and SeIf Testingfacilities make fault finding easier. As it is a new andsophlstlcated system operator should go through this manualcarefully to understand each and every point. This vrill helphim to operate the system without dif ficutty. This will alsohetp him ln understandlng the operatlon of system and takecorrectlve actlon ln case he finds any prob len: in systemoperalion. Thls wlll also help him in utlllsing the system formaximum advantage and benefits.

    8. SERVICING t MAINTENANCE:In case of problem flrst carry out the vlsual inspecLion tosee that no connectlon is broken, power line voltage iscorrect and there ls no loose connectlon ln supply or anyother connectlons Observe fault to determlne lts nature. gorecommon faults and their solutl.ons are glven below. Theseshould be suf flclent to solve the normally enccrinteresproblem ln flelds. Solutlons should be attempteC. tytechnlcally qualtfled persons only. These are connected to 6 wayterminal on transformer. Check these supply also. Allsupplies should be wlthin +3V AC of 'Indlcated Voltage.

It should shor lerreslstance from 30 ohm to 100 ohm. It should not shor deaCshort 000 ohm.(e) Check for short between D.C. voltage and OV. This ca- 3checked at supply LED lndicatl.on point. Where blue or black I sq.mm.wlre ls -ve and Red I sq.mm. wlre ls +ve (+sv). rf voltagels not proper (wlthln 4.7 V to 5.2 V) then remove all cards, and check voltage. rf voltage ls stilr not proper thenchange the regulator. rf voltage becomes oK after removingthe card, then lnsert card one by one and ftnd out bylnserllng which card voltage drops. There ls a short inthat card. Flnd out the short with visual inspection or bymultimeter and remove.
