Joint Committees and Working Groups are the most appropriate instrument to channel the concerns and needs of members of the CMIC, and foster proper coordination with public agencies or regulatory executing public works.

- New culture in Mexico’s public procurement.
- National Infrastructure Council established in 2001: promoted law amendments and administrative guidelines in public procurement.
- 2009: arbitration established as a dispute resolution mechanism in all public procurement schemes. (Public Construction and PPPs).
