Center for Civic Engagement Internship Program

Civil engagement focus Non-profit, or government agency Priority given to those directly involved with civic

engagement (service, community engagement, government/citizenship)

Community Service Internship Program (CSIP)

Intern with a community service organization that normally doesn’t have the resources to hire interns− Unique capacity with preference given to

working directly with the local community− Direct service to local community− Tangible results that lasts beyond your tenure

Kravis Leadership Institute (KLI) –Social Sector Internship Program

Social sector, non-profit internships (legislative offices not eligible)

Be involved with the organization’s management or occupy a leadership role

Preference given to students enrolled in the Leadership Sequence and/or affiliated with KLI

Non-Profit Internship Program

Unpaid internships with non-profits and government agencies (including legislative offices) while living at home.

Internship should connect with future plans

Political Education Fellowship

Funding to work on a political campaign (legislative offices excluded)

Preference for state/local campaigns that are competitive

Campaign must be approved by a government professor
