Infant Baptism

The forms are located in the ves-tibules or commons of each parish and are also available on-line in English or Spanish at www.clusterparishes.com. Please return forms to the office manager of your desired parish in person, by mail, or by e-mail (see bulletin cover for addresses.) Please be sure to indicate on the form for which parish you are registering.

Sacramental Records

Please contact the office manager for the parish from which you require a sacramental record. Please provide as much information as possible for the record search: date, sacrament, presider, etc.

Vocations to the Priesthood or Religious Life

“Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men.” Is the Lord maybe calling you to the priesthood or religious life? Contact Father Michael Boehling, Vicar for Vocations at (804) 359-5661 or [email protected] for more information.

First Reconciliation and First Communion

Children normally begin preparation for First Reconciliation and First Communion when they enter second grade. 484-7335 or [email protected].

Confirmation

Youth normally begin their Confirmation Preparation in tenth grade. The Confirmation Preparation Program is separate from Christian Formation. Non-Confirmed Catholic youth in tenth grade or higher should register for Confirmation Preparation. Students preparing for Confirmation should also be enrolled and participate in the Cluster Youth Formation program. For more information, contact John Watchorn at 757-484-7335 or [email protected].

Becoming Catholic

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, (RCIA), is the process through which adults join the Catholic Church.

The Cluster Parishes use RCIA to bring into the Catholic Church non-baptized adults as well as adults who are baptized in non-

Catholic Christian traditions. Additionally, adults who were bap-tized Catholic but who did not complete the Sacraments of Con-firmation and/or Eucharist may attend RCIA as a means to com-plete those sacraments. We also welcome any fully-initiated Catholic who may have been away from the Church for whatever reason. RCIA is a wonderful means to re-discover one's Catholic roots. For information about RCIA, contact Deacon Kevin at 757-

484-7335 or [email protected].
