Approximately 40% of UK Alumni Association funding comes from members in the form of dues and gifts.

Members help the university with its alumni participation rate, which is an important metric that helps enhance the value of the UK degree.

Members are substantially more likely to become engaged with the university through volunteerism and donations.

Recognize members at events

Keep it simple: ask members to stand to be recognized at an event, give members special nametags, offer member and nonmember pricing.

Thank members for their membership with the UK Alumni Association at every club gathering.

Offer an inexpensive gift to members who attend events or conduct a raffle for members only.

How do I know if someone is a member?

Ask event attendees to show their UK Alumni Membership card and check expiration date.

You may request a list of current members in your area from the UK Alumni Association. (please allow at least 10 days to process your request.)
