1) To promote tennis, increase media exposure of tennis, increase the number of affiliated clubs and registered players in Ireland and standardise procedures, rankings & rangs. 2) To increase the number of people playing the game and to increase the membership of clubs: Currently Official Club membership numbers in 2015 are approximately 60,000. 3) To increase this number by 20% by 2020 ie an extra 12,000 at average sub of €200 = €2.4 million, ie €2.1 million for Clubs and €150k for Provinces and €150k for Tennis Ireland from levies. 4) To annually develop and maintain the development strategy, support structure and implementaon plan by increased awareness of the importance and benefit to clubs and by improving engagement and support. develop your club facilities & programmes Enter the Tennis Ireland Club of the Year Competition 2016- Provincial & Tennis Ireland- Winner & Runner-Up Attend and Engage at Forums to Share and Learn Good Practice & Topics of Interest. Increase the number of Tennis Ireland Coaches at Tennis Ireland Level 1, 2 & 3. The Club Coaching programme must support membership growth and the Tennis Director must be integrated into the management of the Club with the coaches income objectives aligned to the profitability of the Club.
