Conclusiones

• La ONMB es una patología poco frecuente (pero en alza) que suele venir diagnosticada clínicamente, desconocida para la mayor parte de patólogos generales (ámbito de CMF y odontólogos).

• Se asocia invariablemente a infección por Actinomyces spp.

• Esta infección puede pasar desapercibida en la biopsia y es relativamente desconocida para los clínicos.

• En la patogenia influyen los bifosfonatos y los Actinomyces.

• El paciente puede beneficiarse de una mejora con un correcto tratamiento antibiótico.
