VISION/MISSION• Draw a roadmap for the next 10 years of Technology Innovations needed for
CLOUD COMPUTING, with a special focus on the needs in INDIA, spanning– Vision of capabilities, scale, and evolution– Ecosystem and innovation platform for government, citizens, educational
institutions, companies (different sectors), mobile access to cloud services– Reference architecture, operational model– Standards especially for interoperability– Innovation sandbox
• Be the thinktank for the “Decision Makers” in the Govt of India formulating the policies and plans associated with deployment of Cloud Computing in the Country
• Compose the Committee and formulate a first draft of the roadmap in the next 150 days
• Half Yearly Innovation Council meeting to evolve and drive agenda, monitor progress. (proposed term – 2 years)
• Yearly IEEE Cloud Computing for Emerging Markets (CCEM) conference engaging players in the ecosystem, and including practical demonstrations of capabilities on evolving national cloud infrastructure, and driving the agenda forward.
