INTRODUCTION:

Innovation plays a major role. Technology for human welfare. Reduce death rate. Increase communication accessibility. Prevent air accidents.

Page 4: Cloud based avionics

BASIC DEFINITIONS:

AVIONICS: --- Aviation + Electronics.

--- Electronic systems used on aircraft, artificial satellites, and spacecraft.

Page 5: Cloud based avionics

BASIC DEFINITIONS:

Large groups of remote servers are net worked to allow centralized data storage and online access to computer services or resources.

Page 6: Cloud based avionics

BASIC DEFINITIONS:

Multiplexing and Demultiplexing:

Page 7: Cloud based avionics

FREQUENCY-DIVISION MULTIPLEXING:

Total bandwidth available in a communication medium is divided into a series of non-overlapping frequency sub-bands, each of which is used to carry a separate signal.

Page 8: Cloud based avionics

FREQUENCY-DIVISION MULTIPLEXING:

o All signals are sent simultaneously, each assigned its own frequency.

o Using multiplexers and filters all signals can be retrieved.

Page 9: Cloud based avionics

FREQUENCY-DIVISION DEMULTIPLEXING:

Reverse process of FDM.

PROCESS:

NEED FOR CLOUD INSIDE AIRCRAFT:

Page 13: Cloud based avionics

SATELLITE COMMUNICATION:

Demultiplexer and multiplexer.

Demultiplexer : Separates various signals from the

multiplexed signal. Received from the cloud to various

transmission towers situated in earth.

Page 14: Cloud based avionics

SATELLITE COMMUNICATION:

Multiplexer: Various signal responses received

from the transmission towers reaches the satellite.

Various signals are multiplexed as a single signal.

Sent to the cloud for sharing of data inside the aircraft.

Page 15: Cloud based avionics

 FREQUENCY ALLOCATION FOR SATELLITES:

o Carried out by International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

o To facilitate frequency planning, the world is divided into three regions:

o Region 1: Europe, Africa, what was formerly the Soviet Union, and Mongolia Region

o 2: North and South America and Greenland Region

o 3: Asia (excluding region 1 areas), Australia, and the southwest Pacific.

Page 16: Cloud based avionics

SATELLITE POSITIONS:

Page 17: Cloud based avionics

SECURITY IN COMPUTER NETWORKING: Intruder: --- Can steal user name and

password. --- Hack the network if not

properly encrypted.

Page 18: Cloud based avionics

SECURITY IN COMPUTER NETWORKING: Prevention: --- Proper encryption and

decryption of data. ---Cryptographic techniques.

Page 19: Cloud based avionics

ADVANTAGES:

Page 20: Cloud based avionics

ADVANTAGES:

Faster communication facilities inside aircraft.

Internet accessibility.

Navigation signals are not at all affected.

Air accidents can be minimized.

Hijacking of aircrafts will be prevented.

Page 21: Cloud based avionics

CONCLUSION:

Stop watch for life is not in our hands. Prevention is better than cure.
