    Result and Discussion

Presence of microfilaria in 60% of bloodsample.

    Positive response to treatment.(Mukhopadhay.S et.al 1996)

    Hematological finding: ANAEMIA. EOSINOPHILIA. NEUTROPHILIA.

LYMPHOCYTOSIS. DECEASE IN TOTAL R.B.C. COUNT. DECEASE IN TOTAL W.B.C. COUNT. (David

    Recommendation

Seasonal Pattern of occurrence ofposterior paralytic symptom is causedby cerebrospinal nematode Seteria spp,

Prevalence of disease occur whenmosquito vectors are active.

Can be treated and prevented by usingDiethylcarbamazin. (P. Ghalsasi et.al 7th

international Conference on goats,France may 2000 Use of ivermectine is contraindicated

during microfilaraemia stage ( MichelBoussinesq et.al Filarial journal 2003)
