We once climbed up to the earth's topWe could not but stop

to see the extravaganza of Beauty

We crossed hill and dale, We jumped over shale,

to reach this place of magic As ice fell on the heads,

We got up to tread, the tallest of them all,

The Mount Everest

We found the great spot, where Tenzing Norgay Laid a cot,

to see a place full of snow At last after perilous days,

We reached the top by many ways,

Hooray, Hooray, Hooray.
