ARID CLIMATIC REGION A region is arid when it is
characterised by severe lack of water to the extent of hindering or peventing the growth and development of plant and animal growth. Desert climate is an arid climate in which preciptation is too low to sustain vegetation and at most scanty rainfall region . The average annual rainfall in arid region is 0-25.
ARID REGION HAVING SCANTY RAINFALL
SEMI ARID CLIMATIC REGION
A arid which is characterised by relatively low annual rainfall of 20 to 50 cm and having scrubby vegetation with short coarse grasses and is not completely arid. Rainfall region is light in semi arid regions.
SEMI ARID REGION HAVING LIGHT RAINFALL
SUB HUMID CLIMATIC REGION
Region where moisture is normally less than under humid conditions but still sufficient for the cultivation of many agriculture crops without irrigation or dryland farming. In this the rainfall region is moderate and the average annual rainfall is about 50 to 100 cm.

Humid region is region which s characterised by heavy rainfall and humid regions are those regions where the average annual rainfalls about 100-200 . Mostly these regions are found in southern part of India like Kerala .

VERY WET CLIMATIC REGION
A very wet region is characterised by a region where the rainfall is very heavy and in these regions the average annual rainfall is >200. Eastern part of India get a very heavy rainfall.
