CLIENT PATHWAY

Staff don PPE  Client met at entrance and ID

checked

Client temperature checked- if

reading over 37.8 client needs to

rebook in 14 days

COVID questionnaire completed N.B Client may only leave check in

area and enter waiting area if no

suspicion of COVID

All clients will be asked to wear

face covering/mask. Will also be

asked to use alco-gel before entry

Client will be directed to a marked

out bay to facilitate social

distancing

Check in staff changes PPE and

cleans area ready for next client

Staff member escorts client to x-ray room

Staff member will be available for

any queries

Staff member checks ID & selects

on modality

Mammogram performed with

consent

Images checked and modality

closed

One way system operational so

that clients will be escorted to the

exit which is separate to entry area 

Staff member returns to x-ray

room, changes PPE and cleans

thoroughly

Staff member washes hands,

completes paperwork and prepares

for next client

Results process discussed with

client
