Dear Chief Life Insurance Advisors, Our Corporation celebrated its 55th anniversary on 1st September,2011. During the year 2010-11, the

Corporation sold more than 3.7 Crore individual policies capturing market share of 76.92%. Total

premium collection was Rs.2.03.358 Crore. It settled over 1.83 Crore claims totaling Rs.52160 Crore.

The Corporation will pay a bonus of Rs.21580 Crore to policyholders comparing to last year’s 19557

Crore. Total Life Fund of the Corporation stood at 1151200 Crore and Total Asset stood at 1317416

Crore.

Such stupendous achievement has been possible due to the trust of the customers in the brand

“LIC” and total involvement of all stakeholders. I congratulate all of you for your contribution to the

growth of the Corporation.

One of the decisions taken in all India SDMs’ Conference was that 60% of our CLIAs are to get

incentive in this year. Why 60%? I sincerely want that all of our CLIAs should get various allowances

available under the Scheme. This will be possible if all of our CLIAs fulfill the escalated FYP of Rs.9.75

lacs with 5 or more Supervised Agents. We can strengthen our channel by recruiting large number of

Supervised Agents and by increasing their productivity.

We can come out of the existing negative growth of First Premium by procuring large volume of

New Business in this month because our activities may suffer a set back in the next month due to many

festive occasions.
