The IT assistant told me it depended on what I wanted to do.

Extreme AdjectivesYou may have experienced the situation in which normal adjectives like “good” or “big” or “small” were not quite the right word to describe something.Extreme adjectives offer you the possibility to express yourself more precisely.
1. Substitute “very + adjective” with a matching extreme adjective from the box.

Adjective OppositesIt is quite easy to express the opposite by saying what something is not, e.g.“not strong” instead of “weak”.It is much easier though to know the correct opposite for an adjective.

You use the will-future (will [not] + infinitive) to express:

You use the going-to-future (am/is/are [not] + going to + infinitive) to express:
– plans for the future, e.g. We are going to watch the film tonight.– implications for the near future, e.g. It’s dark outside, it is going to rain soon.
You use the simple present to express:
– a set or fixed action/event in the future, e.g. The bus leaves at 12.15 p.m.
You use the present progressive (am/is/are [not] + verb + ing) to express:
– a set or fixed plan or date for the near future, e.g. She is coming at 12.15 p.m.
