Page 1 of 6 Chino Valley Unified School District Scope of Work for Classroom Preparation for ViewSonics Group 1 Contractors Class A & B Engineer’s Estimate: $95,000.00 Contractor Duration: 90 calendar days This project will cover five (5) school sites (Country Springs ES, Litel ES, Oak Ridge ES, Canyon Hills JHS and Townsend JHS) for a total of 39 classrooms. The successful contractor shall supply all labor, materials, services, insurance, and equipment necessary to complete the work. The Contractor shall thoroughly investigate the premises for a complete understanding of the scope of work required for this bid. • Remove whiteboards from front of classrooms. Protect the whiteboards for re-installation. Re- install whiteboards on either side of new ViewSonic monitors. If the whiteboards are not usable for re-installation, District will furnish new whiteboards for contractor to install. The minimum distance between the whiteboards is 76”. • Remove any smart boards and ceiling/wall mounted projectors from the rooms. Remove old steel TV stand backing plates. Contractor must deliver these items to the Maintenance Department after removal. Replace damaged ceiling tiles with District provided tiles/patch and paint walls where ceiling/wall mounted projects were located. • Install new 3' x 2' plywood mounting board. Plywood to be good one side (G1S), 3/4" thick, routed round edges, sanded smooth from splinting, prime and painted to match the existing wall. Attach plywood to walls with 6 lag bolts attached to the wall studs. The lag bolts to be 3/8” x 4” and be used with a regular washer and split/lock washer. • Install new electrical outlet and data box for the monitor. Mount boxes adjacent to the backer board, but not to interfere with the mount or movement of ViewSonic monitor. Power to be connected to a usable circuit above the ceiling. Run conductors in wall when available, otherwise surface mount the pathway using wire mold. Please reference the attached list of District standards for electrical, data, and wire molding materials. • Repair any holes in vinyl tack board or drywall caused from scope of work. Any damaged ceiling tiles or vinyl tack board need to be replaced with District standard material. • District will determine the front orientation of each classroom. • Clean and leave classroom free of dust and construction debris and ready for classes the following day. Contractor is responsible for covering/protecting all furniture in the rooms while work is taking place. • Awarded contractor will be responsible for the removal and disposable of construction debris. • All work needs to be completed after hours and/or weekends. Awarded contractor will be supplied school calendars for each site relating to holiday, early releases, etc.

Canyon Hills JHS o Total of 13 classrooms (Rooms:501, 502, 503, 504, 505, 506, 507, 508, 509, 510, 511,
512, 513) o Rooms 501,502,503, 504, 505, 506, 508, 509 – need to change out 8ft whiteboards to
4ft whiteboards on both sides of the ViewSonic. Below is a photo of room 503 as reference.
o Room 507 – remove and reinstall ViewSonic to specifications listed in scope of work. Whiteboards can remain in place. Below is a photo as reference.

Townsend JHS o Total of 6 classrooms (Rooms: 413, 415, 416, 417, 418, 419) o Room 415 – Remove 16ft whiteboard. Install 4ft whiteboards on both sides of the
