Kas- sandra Johansen, Finance Director, also pres- ent. Unless otherwise noted all actions were approved unanimously. Hildebrandt moved/Neil second to approve the agenda. Board met with Jan Heidemann, MHDD/GA/ SA for department update. Hildebrandt moved/ Neil second to authorize Board Chair to sign a Service Agreement to Participate in the ISAC HIPAA Program. Hildebrandt moved/Neil second to approve an updated 28E Agreement amendment for Mental Health/Disability Service of the East Central Region. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Hildebrandt moved/Neil second to adopt RESOLUTION #20-59: Fund Transfer. WHERE- AS, Section 331.432 of the Code of Iowa re- quires the Board of Supervisors of Bremer County Iowa to authorize the transfer of funds by resolution; BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors authorizes the following trans- fer: From General Basic to Debt Service Fund $1,350.00 So passed and adopted this 22nd day of June 2020. Hildebrandt moved/Neil second to appoint Sara Stephens to Veterans Affairs Commission for a 3-year term ending 6/30/23. Board/Committee updates: Neil attended 2nd Judicial District board meeting; Hildebrandt attended INRCOG Executive Board and Re- gional Tech Board meetings. Board met with David Lehman, Roadside Vegetation Mgr., for department update. Board met with Landon Moore, Engineer, for a weekly Secondary Roads department up- date. Sealed bids for letting for Bremer County Reed Ave Grading and Surfacing Project were opened. Chad Wiltgen, Skyline Materials Ltd., Blake Baker, Baker Concrete & Excavating, Inc., Jami Cole, Cole Excavating, LLC, and Nick Zitelman, Steger Construction, Inc., present. Hildebrandt moved/Neil second to accept the bid and award the project to Baker Concrete & Excavating, Inc. for $589,226.05 contingent upon review of documents by the County En- gineer. Hildebrandt moved/Neil second to approve Utility Permit for Windstream Iowa Communi- cations, LLC for installation of fiber cable along 130th St in Sumner Township. Dave Beenblossom, Mayor - City of Janes- ville, Alvin Worrell, Janesville Council Member, and Joe Elsinger, MSA Professional Services, Engineer for the City of Janesville, met with the board to discuss options for constructing a bridge on 7th St over the Cedar River. Board met with Scott LaRue, GIS/Main- tenance, for department update. Hildebrandt moved/Neil second to approve trading in the 2018 lawn mower for a new lawn mower. Board met with Randy McKenzie, B & Z Admin., for department update and to consider subdivision requests. Board reviewed a request from Sox Farms L.C. Kim Fox present in support. The Bremer County Board of Supervisors met in session in the board room in the Court-house, Waverly, Iowa, Monday, June 22, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. Neil & Hildebrandt present. Kas-sandra Johansen, Finance Director, also pres-ent. Unless otherwise noted all actions were approved unanimously. Meeting was called to order by Chairman Neil. Hildebrandt moved/Neil second to approve the agenda.
