Hence, Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) is a part and parcel of the teaching learning process. It is a developmental process of assessment to provide holistic profile of the learner through regular assessment of both scholastic and co-scholastic aspects of development over the total span of learning time. (CCE) Areas of Assessment 1(A) Scholastic Areas (Academic Subjects) : This includes academic subjects and non- academic subjects. The student will be assessed in 6 academic subjects namely Language I, Language II, Language III, Mathematics, Science and Social Science. Regular classes are provided by the school in the above-mentioned academic subjects. Students will be assessed continuously and comprehensively for their understanding in these subjects. All academic subjects will be assessed on a 9-point grade scale. These comprise of 2A– Lifeskills, 2B – Work Education, 2C – Visual and Performing Arts, 2D – Attitudes & Values
These will be assessed on 5-point scale.

(2A) Life Skills: (i) Self Awareness (ii) Problem Solving (iii) Decision making (iv) Critical Thinking (v) Creative Thinking
(2B) Work Education: This comprise of activities such as (a) stationery making – folder making/ Bookmark making/ Paper Bag making (b) Cooking-salad
dressing, (c) Fabric painting. Out of the above mentioned list, the following activities: - paper bag making, Salad dressing will be taken up in first term, while,
papier Mache, Stitching-Hooks and button tucking will be taken up in second term. These activities will be assessed on the basis of 5 points grade scale as
provided by CBSE and conducted under the guidance of class teacher.
(2C) Visual & Performing Arts: A student has to choose any one of the following options:-
• Music
• Drawing & Painting
(2D) Attitudes & Values: (i) Attitude Towards Teachers (ii) Attitude Towards Schoolmates
(iii) Attitude Towards school programme & environment (iv) Value Systems
3. Co – Scholastic Activities
This comprises of 3A & 3B

* These tests/exams would aim at evaluating the understanding of the students and preparing them for summative assessment. FA Pen Paper Test will be held on
every Monday as per the schedule mentioned in the syllabus, Page No.

� FA-1,2,3,4, SA - 1& SA – 2 will include only the syllabus prescribed for that particular cycle/ term.
� In case there happens to be a holiday on a particular exam date, the exam will be held on the next working day.
� Each student should have 75% of attendance in each term to be eligible to appear in Term/Summative exam.
� Student must obtain the qualifying grade (minimum grade D) in all the subject under Scholastic and Co-Scholastic Domain.
� It is mandatory for each student to appear in all the FA’s & SA’s. No retest will be conducted. If the student misses FA (Pen Paper Test) for any reason,
Absent (Ab) will be marked. Retest is permissible for Term Exam only.
� In case student misses the FA (Pen Paper Test) due to chronic illness, parents are requested to inform the Head Teacher in writing and submit a medial
certificate to that effect not later than two days after the particular examination. Weightage will be awarded on medical grounds in FA (Pen Paper Test). It
is compulsory to appear in atleast 3 FA (Pen Paper Test) in each subject to earn the Weightage on medical grounds.
� The answer sheet of FA (Pen Paper Test) and SA – 1 after having been checked by the teacher and also checked by the concerned student will be sent to
the parents for their information and acknowledgement.
