In Memory Of Kelly Jorgenson Clarence (Kelly) E. Jorgenson was born on October 15, 1929 near Demmick Lake on the Jorgenson homestead, son of Gust and Serina Jorgenson, Norwegian immi- grants. Kelly was the youngest of eight brothers and two sisters all who preceded him in death. Pastor Haktor Moe baptized him January 2, 1932 at Clear Creek Church. He was united in mar- riage for 62 years to Hazel Olson. Kelly ranched in McKenzie and Dunn Counties, and en- joyed that life. He trained horses for work and saw success at showing them. He loved animals, especially Rudy, his cow dog. As well, he had a special ability to see a project or tool in his mind’s eye, and then construct it. Kelly also enjoyed the winters he spent training horses in Arizona Kelly was a 55 year member of the North Dakota Stock- man’s Association and the American Quarter Horse Associa- tion. Kelly ranched with Hazel’s parents, Gordon and Inga Ol- son, and later took over the ranch. Kelly lived, worshiped and loved the beauty of the badlands, God’s country. Kelly is survived by his wife, Hazel of Watford City; son, Gary (Carolyn) Billings, MT; daughter, Barbara (Don) Breza- var, Lenexa, KS; daughter, JoAnne (Chris) Jones, Castle Pines, CO; and son, Steven, Watford City, ND; six grandchildren, Shane Jorgenson, Billings, MT, Sarah Jorgenson, Beaverton, OR, Donald Brezavar II and Daniel Brezavar both of Kansas City, MO, Erik Jones, Tembegapura, Indonesia and Greg Jones, Sheridan, WY; great-grandchildren, Hailey Jorgenson, Billings, MT, Kaine, Gage and Jaegar Peters, Beaverton, OR. We, the family love you, miss you and you will forever be in our hearts.
