Headteacher Catch Up What an exciting week we have had, starting with the school council attending the Raising of the Commonwealth Flag ceremony at the town hall. It was an incredible opportunity for the children to take part, along side other schools from Tunbridge Wells. The Mayor and his wife shared how the council chamber works during normal business through a talk and a Q&A. I will be asking the school council to share their experiences with the whole school with me and so we will be able to send more information and photos following this. I hope you have found the daily updates on COVID-19 useful. The Department for Education have been diligent in providing these and as a school we are following every piece of guidance. The staff team, as always, have taken this very seriously and are maintaining quality opportunities for learning alongside vigilance about sustaining hygiene. Senor Lalo is checking soap containers with more regularity through the day to support the increase in hand washing. On the news this morning it talked about protecting from dryness of skin with this increased use of soap, with this in my mind I would suggest that every morning and night at home, you encourage the use of appropriate hand-cream to help this.
