She was welcomed by our Head Prefects, Travis Kuchel and Etabez Donato, who were our hosts for the afternoon. The School band performed on the front steps on her arrival before the Minister and her entourage moved down to see the site for the new STEM development. She embraced the opportunity to visit the Learning Centre and the Agricultural Program before catching up with the Year 12 Society class. We were able to talk openly about the extensive curriculum offerings we have at Clare High School, the collaborative work around transition that is supported across our Partnership, and the successful inclusion of Year 7s into a Secondary site. With the support of the Year 12 Food and Hospitality class, a small gift basket, containing home-made sweets, was presented to the Minister before she departed. This was a terrific opportunity to showcase Clare High School, our dedicated staff and wonderful students. The Year 12 Formal was held on Saturday evening. Thank you to Mrs Rowe and the Formal committee for all their organisation of this event. The use of Mr Micks’ front garden for the student photos was a huge success and to have a couple of familiar faces, Mr Walker and Lachie Smith as the chief photographers, made for some spectacular shots! All students and their partners dressed to impress, looking glamorous and handsome! It was obvious a good time was being
