amygdules visible in more chi 1 led sect ions. Buff or sandy color. Fragmental sections
and numerous contacts visible. Some shattering with black silicification also black
silicification among fragments.
R. as above, med. arev. finer grained, mineralized with several quartz calcite strlnaer
and less than \ 7a oyrite (tiny cakes) Some of carbonate weathered out leaving limonite
pits. 256-258 7555 quartz and calcite in irreg. stringer parallel to the core.

calci te specks. Several percent quartz-ca lei te veins.
R, sim to above (with tiny atiyddules?) sandv tinae but not as brown as 203-252.Moderately schistose at 45 to core, some rust along schist planes. Core mod. brokenwith possible IO& Core loss. 428-430 milky qtz. vein in shear at 40 to core.
73 - 123, yellowish, mod. brecciated. wi th 10ft whitish to light grey silica between
breccia particles. I05S rusted over lengths up to 18 inches.123-148 grey with scattered milky jquartz veins, si. brecciated with 57o i nterbreccia
chlorite. 2ft pyrite in disseminated cubes and dadecahedrons. Several short rusty section:

Serpentine (green) - carbonate (creamy^ non-ef f eruescent) talc (ft. blue) rock. First
fine feet serpent i ni zed rhyolite, remai nder creamy colored groundmass 30ft speckled with .da
green serpentine.. . t
Rhvol ite r ol i ve green with a wood-grain structure consisting of serpentine filled ioints
variably oriented as if consisting of random blocks haphazardly cemented together andcored. Soft enough to be scratched by nail. Structure becoming less perfect at 260 and
dissappears at 282. 2B2-35U normal olive and. greyish aphanitic rhyolite, mo dy r o'lt;! f
breccioted w i th -serpent ine filling. — Grey color probably related to serpentine a 1 ter-ation.l
