DESIGN FEATURES

• Utility Upgrades –

� Water Main and Services, Xcel Electric and Gas, Storm Sewers, Sanitary Service Repairs, Comcast, Others

• New Concrete Sidewalks, New Asphalt Bikeway

� East curbline from 2nd Street to 6th remains in current location

• New Concrete Pavement

• Trees, Vegetation, Furnishings

� Existing trees will be retained or replaced

� New plantings and landscape furnishings proposed

• Streetlights and Signals

� Historic Globe lights will be refurbished and reinstalled

� New Single Globe Lighting supplemented with Bent Straw

� Modern Signal System at all intersections

TRAFFIC / SAFETY / ENVIRONMENTAL

• Maximize pedestrian and bicycle space

• Provides buffer areas between all modes of

transportation

• Respect and enhance existing context

• Consistent with downtown standards and development

goals

• May 2016-

Construction Contract Begins on south end of corridor

• December 2016 –

Construction substantially complete south of 7th Place

• April 2017 –

Construction begins north of 7th Place to 11 th Street.

• December 2017 –
