It has been really important for us to find an apprentice with a lived experience and good understanding of either mental health and substance misuse, and our aim was to really raise our profile on social media. The apprenticeship scheme has been a great way for us to take on a wonderful apprentice, Vickie, who has done an excellent job of re-inventing our brand and social media and promoting the work we do. City College Peterborough has been extremely supportive in both the recruitment of Vickie, and in helping to provide her a rounded learning experience. The college has been very supportive and helpful to me in my learning journey and transition to the Level 4 apprenticeship. Working with Chris has been great as he has vast experience in the digital marketing field and is always happy to give support when I need it.
