only address crime prevention issues, but also restore pride and unity to a neighborhood.

What is CERT?Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) programs:• educate people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may
impact their area.• train basic disaster response skills such as
– fire safety– light search + rescue– team organization– disaster medical operations

• Assist others in their neighborhood or workplace following an event when professional responders are not immediately available to help.
