CIRCULATION

• Circulation involves various elements like the • The path• How the spaces are connected to the path This majorly reflects on the way how the furniture is arranged in the space. The building uses combination of various types like linear , radial , grid etc in different spaces like the meeting points of different rooms , vertical circulation etc.

• There are basically three types of circulation for any office

• Staff circulation• Service circulation• Visitor circulation

STAFF CIRCULATION

• Staff circulation is very important part as it is the major part of IT buildings.

• The various rooms like – the huge work space with single , two or four cubicles ,discussion areas , manager and head officers rooms, conference rooms etc are all some major staff occupied areas.

• Usually the workspace has a direct access from the waiting areas of each floor.

VISITOR CIRCULATION

• The IT office also has various areas like training rooms, multipurpose halls and conference rooms for meetings and discussions with various other companies, H.R rooms and cafeteria etc. These rooms are located at an easy access and usually in the ground floor etc.

SERVICE CIRCULATION

• The various service rooms involved with the functioning of an IT office are-

• HVAC, electrical room, generator ,BMS, storage, pantry ,kitchen etc

• They have a separate service entry and a service lift which is visually seperated from the other zones so that the maitenance happens without affecting the office activities.
